How is the dataset maintained?

The mission of the OldVis project is to create a digital collection containing as many historical visualizations on the web as possible. Building the old visualization dataset is not a one-time task, as the digital libraries are continuously updated. A visualization that is not available on the web today may become digitized and available tomorrow. Therefore, maintaining the old visualization dataset is a continuous process.

The latest version of the dataset can be found at oldvis/dataset. The contribution guidelines for oldvis/dataset detail the steps for contributing updates to the dataset.
